The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has officially revised downward the prices of re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) for the month of July 2025, offering some relief to industrial and commercial gas consumers.
According to OGRA’s notification released on Tuesday, the price cuts will apply to both Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), affecting both the transmission and distribution price segments.

For SSGC:

↓ From $9.7284 to $9.4713 per mmBtu
(Decrease: $0.2571 or 2.64%) -
Distribution Price:
↓ From $10.8650 to $10.5737 per mmBtu
(Decrease: $0.2913 or 2.68%)
Reason for Price Reduction
The revision primarily reflects a slight decline in DES (Delivered Ex-Ship) prices, which directly impact the imported cost of LNG. OGRA adjusts RLNG rates monthly based on fluctuations in global LNG prices, shipping charges, port handling, and exchange rates.
